**Lead Teacher Responsibilities:**
- **Curriculum and Instruction:** Use our curriculum to develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- **Classroom Management:** Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
- **Family Communication:** Communicate effectively with families about their child’s progress and activities.
- **Health and Safety:** Supervise children during activities to ensure their well-being.
- **Professional Development:** Participate in ongoing training to enhance your teaching skills.
- **Assessment and Documentation:** Observe and document children’s development to inform activities.
- **Team Collaboration:** Support and collaborate with fellow teachers.
- **Behavior Guidance:** Implement positive guidance strategies for social-emotional growth.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- CDA certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
- Must complete state-required training.
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. related to child handling.
